11:00am: Headline Channel

This might have been the short-lived Merv Griffin game show "Headline Chasers" (syndicated in 1985-86). Griffin did not have the trifecta after hitting home-runs with "Wheel of Fortune" and "Jeopardy!"

Wheel of Fortune = grand slam
Jeopardy = inside-the-park homerun
Headline Chasers = bloop single

:D

Odd to see Channel 5 do their local evening news at 6:30 PM as opposed to the customary 6 PM time slot. Did Wapner beat 2 and 4 in the ratings?
