I think the program was "Family Medical Center", a syndicated medical advice program.

I think in her early days, Sally was only a half-hour program, to later expand to 60 minutes.

Or more precise, the Filmation version that was produced, to prove that "Ghostbusters" existed before the 1980s film version. (This animated series was based on the short-lived, live-action show starring Larry Storch and Forrest Tucker.)

Likely the "Wild Wild World of Animals".

Given that it was the late-1980s, chances are it was.

2 "Topper" (partial show word)

Not this case -- there was a 1950s television series called "Topper":

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Topper_(TV_series)

Important schedule, just one month before Hurricane Hugo. Channel 2 always delayed the 11:00am show when they were ABC until 1996. They delayed Caryl & Marilyn to 11:30am so they could air a paid program at 11. Here it was preempted.

You can see how much Charleston has changed since then in TV. None of the stations were even on at 5am that Monday. Now, 3 of them run local news. Channel 5 had the only morning news at just 30 minutes.

No 5pm news either. Charleston didn't even have a 5pm news until 1995 (WCBD), being one of the last markets to get one. It was only 30 minutes. No station had more than 30 minutes of news at dinner time.

Two quick clarifications:

To Life! Yoga... (not To Lifel) {http://www.yogaone.com/}

And SJR was offered to stations in 30 or 60 minute episodes during the late 80s, much like Donahue was during its earlier days.
