Looking back, now it sure seems that way. However, that was the line up on most FOX stations. Most of those talk shows ended up on UPN/WB (Now, CW and MyTV)

The shock talk shows invaded WJW's schedule for a while beforehand too, once the station switched from CBS to Fox. Just four years earlier, the daytime schedule consisted of Gabrielle Carteris, Geraldo Rivera, Mark Walberg, Tempestt Bledsoe, Carnie Wilson and Ricki Lake, along with Charles Perez in the late night hours and Night Stand on the weekends. They also had George and Alana at 9AM, which was more of a Regis and Kathie Lee-style show. Jerry Springer and Maury Povich were on WKYC at that time.
