Re KTVT: They do in fact have a local newscast at 11 AM, followed by "Y&R" at 11:30. It is one of five stations outside the Eastern time zone to carry "Y&R" at that time; the others are sister stations KCBS Los Angeles and WBBM Chicago; WTVF Nashville; and KOLR Springfield, MO. KTVT does not do a 6 PM newscast; "Jeopardy!" airs then, followed by "Wheel of Fortune" at 6:30.
KDFW and WFAA have hour-long newscasts at 6. "Inside Edition" and "Entertainment Tonight" air on WFAA before the 4 PM newscast (shades of sister station KARE Minneapolis/St. Paul, which also airs "Jeopardy!" at 4:30 but does not air "Wheel" as it also has an hour newscast at 6; "Wheel" is on WCCO in the Twin Cities.
