Retro dance radio from the year 2027

That's probably because it wasnt really a feasible question, and also wouldnt serve much of an educational purpose for the board. I do think that Hot 96 Portland programer made enough good points to explain my point. If he would have asked the same question on the CHR board I would have probably chipped in, but because of this being a Dance board, and the way Dance music singles burn at an unpredictable rate, its impossible to know 20 years in advance what Dance Songs will still be acceptable for airplay in 2027. None of us know the direction Dance music will have taken, or if it will still even exist in the same form by then. I can think of several Dance tracks that were huge back between 1986-1990 that havent seen any airplay at all in nearly 20 years Kon Kan-(I beg your Pardon) Anybody??, and then you have smaller tracks like Dreamboy Dreamgirl-Cynthia, and Fantasy Girl-Johnny O that were NOT huge national top 40 hits, but did well in certain regions, like Miami and NYC ect,, and yet they still get played as classics up to this day. See my point.
