Was CBEFT a translator, or do those calls
represent a French-language station? The
main reason I ask is because of its being on
Channel 78. When and where would it have moved if it
was a regular, full-power station, given that
70-83 were reassigned to translator status
(I know that CITY Toronto had to move from
79 to 57)?

The station moved down to Channel 54 in 1982.
