The station that started it all for me was WSRX 91.5 The Spark Fort Myers / WBPT Power 89.5FM Naples from 1987ish to 1993ish.
I have uploaded airchecks of my FM recordings (converted from cassette to digital) from that period to my YouTube channel @OfficialDJMo .
Included airchecks are WFLZ Power 93.3 Tampa, WPOW Power 96.5 Miami, WOLZ Oldies 95.3 Fort Myers, & I have yet to upload more from WINK 96.9 Fort Myers, WXKB B103.7 before they moved to 103.9, Real Radio 100.1 in the late-90s to early 2000s, & many more. I even have one clip from 105.5FM when they were playing Dixieland music in the 80s.
