I've always been interested in WTOY! Was it to Roanoke what WRAP AM 850 was to the Norfolk market? I take it WTOY was a
day-timer right? What did the people of Roanoke do for Soul/Black music after sunset? Who were some of the jocks?

From what I've read, after the original incarnation of WTOY went away, another company used the call letters on another frequency for a while. How did that work out?

Sorry I don't remember any of the people who were on the original WTOY. It was a daytimer in that day. First place I ever heard "Rapper's Delight" so there is that!
