I am trying to remember when KJRB moved to a softer format, then to oldies. The wiki page on this is not much of a help. My best guess is they went AC in the early 80’s and oldies maybe early 90’s?

Of course KJRB was owned by the same company (Kaye-Smith) that ran KJR in Seattle. Many jocks worked at both, including legendary Chicago dj Larry Lujack. And yes the Kaye was Danny Kaye, who must have loved Seattle as he was one of the early co-owners of the MLB Seattle Mariners in the mid 70’s.
