I wonder if all local bowling was candlepin. I assume it was....Bowling Stars was a syndicated show, so obviously no c'pin there.

Usually, "Make That Spare" was broadcast live and would start when the live boxing match began.

That week, it was a full half-hour, and probably taped in advance (perhaps prior to the previous Saturday's live telecast) due to it being Christmas Eve.
