Would MacGyver have counted towards the "Canadian Content" requirement for CFRN? The show was shot in
Vancouver for most of it's run.

Maybe if MacGyver wore a tuque and flannels, drank a lot of Labatt's, and incorporated a hockey stick into every one of his improvised contraptions.... ;)
 
MacGyver did play hockey in a couple of episodes. Richard Dean Anderson headlined a
Hollywood celebrity all-star team that would play games for charity in various cities.
Alan Thicke and Michael J. Fox also played on that team at one time.
