Retro Filter Settings on EQ

Can you remind me of the best frequency range settings to roll off or boost (graphic) for a good 'retro' filter sound? I'm using SAW Plus's built-in EQ software with positions at 100hz/200hz/400hz/1Khz/3Khz/6Khz/12Khz. Recently upgraded my computer, lost track of my old settings and I just don't like what I'm hearing. Thanks!

They're out there...At my station group, I'm the only person who doesn't use SAW. Our old production director used ProTools exclusively, but now we have two Macs collecting dust. I use Audition. Every other production or imaging person uses SAW Plus or a combination of SAW and Sound Forge. It's almost sad, really...:)

I do a daily syndicated radio show that I have been producing on SAW Pro for over three years. Yes, I do use other software, but for this purpose SAW lets me track the program, pop in the elements and mix it in record time. I can do two weeks worth of shows from start to finish in an hour or less.

when i was going to school at connecticut school of broadcasting they taught saw there. i went on to my first intern gig and wanted to make a demo tape so i went into production, went to openm saw and couldnt find it so i asked the night guy where it was and he asked what saw was! i had to learn cool edit all by myself! anyways, i am a CE and VEGAS guy myself... like the multi track and beatmixing capabilities of vegas.
