And J! and WOF are still going in syndication for a myriad of reasons, while Kennedy nighttime TPIR just fizzled out after one go.

In our market (Atlanta) the Tom Kennedy Price aired at 5:30 PM on WSB/ch. 2 for three months then got yanked. It reappeared the following February where ch. 2 slotted it at 11 AM and 11:30 Sunday mornings.

Syndie TPIR on Sundays? That's something I've never heard of before.

I guess WSB wanted to keep some uniformity with the show as it aired (still does) at 11 AM on CBS.

The Doug Davidson version several years later would air two episodes back-to-back at random times on weekends on the local Fox station in Philly, based on when network sports aired. If there wasn't an available time on the weekend, it would be split up to air one episode on Monday and one on Tuesday at noon, replacing MASH reruns.

I guess syndication, by what you're saying, means you air it when you can find a slot and/or when you can find a channel.

In those cases, it was probably the best they could get. In the Philly example, no one else was taking it, so that was…something. What was interesting was those days it aired at noon, it was immediately after the network version over on CBS.
