I notice that Fresno's then CBS affiliate KFSN Channel 30 didn't air TPIR back in 1978, 3 years after it expanded to 1 hour?
I know, it's tragic. Yet they still aired the weekly nighttime version from that time. I've just checked through the Fresno Bee's files, and KFSN's hiatus from airing TPIR was from September 13, 1976 to April 23, 1979 (the day Whew! premiered). I chose that date because of those game show hosts' (including Barker) appearance on "Tomorrow".
