Wasn't Bandstand a half-hour long on the network at the time? If so, WZZM didn't pre-empt anything (unless ABC offered something to folow Bandstand at 1PM).

appears to be a local movie since NBC isn't listed as the main source of the movie. What did NBC show for its movie?

This may have been NBC's first showing of the movie. I seem
to recall this.

Maybe "Parade Of Homes" was normally broadcast later on Saturday afternoons, but got pushed back to 1 P.M. that day due to coverage of the Liberty Bowl.

1967's just a little too far back for me to remember, but I didn't know Bandstand was ever just 30 minutes. I thought Parade of Homes may have been pushed into Bandstand's time slot on a one-time-only basis because of the Liberty Bowl.

Castleman and Podrazik's "The TV Schedule Book" shows that
American Bandstand was indeed an hour show (12:30-1:30)
in the 1967-68 season. I can't figure out when "Parade Of
Homes" would have been carried on WZZM, since that fall,
football began with a 15-minute pregame show at 1:45, the
game at 2, the scoreboard (time permitting) at 4:45, and
"Wide World Of Sports" at 5. In the winter of '68, ABC
affiliates had 2-3:30 for themselves, between Happening '68
and the Pro Bowlers Tour. Since the regular season was
over, my guess is that "Parade Of Homes" was on at either
1:30 or 2, and aired at a special time this particular
Saturday.

Back in the 70's American Bandstand would periodcally air as a halh hour program. I'm not sure if this was a network or an affilliate thing.<P ID="signature">______________

How long did this show last on WZZM? I remember watching a game between Kentwood and Otsego high schools, maybe in the late '60s or early '70s at my grandparents house (they were living in Muskegon at the time). Other facts I remember about this show are:

Don Michaels was the host.
The show was co-sponsored by Consumers Power and American Seating.

Big Star sponsered Lets go to the Races in Georgia in the 1970s
