Alex Dreier must have been at the end of his career if
he was doing local news in Boston. Only a few years
earlier he was quite visible on ABC.

He must've come to Boston by way of L.A. That's where he went (to KTTV) after his association with ABC ended and he left Chicago where he'd been since after WWII.
