KPRC-TV 2 (NBC)
AM

9 Special: Are You Listening? (hosted by Martha Stewart in connection with International Women’s Year conference)

I have a feeling that this Martha Stewart seen here is not the home decorator/talk show host.

11:30 Chico And The Man

I think that this was the last day that Chico And The Man was seen in daytime in reruns on NBC. I noticed that reruns of Sanford and Son weren't seen in Houston unless the special at 9:00 A.M. premepted them for that day only.

KTRK 13 (ABC)

I see that Edge Of Night wasn't seen in Houston as evidence by the movie at 3:00.

KRIV 26
AM

8 El Millagdo de Vivar (listed as “drama”)
8:30 Noches Topotino (not sure of second word, smudged on listing)

It is Noches Tapatinas,a Spanish music show.

9 Rarara Primavera (listed as “serial”)

I noticed that they showed some SIN(Spanish International Network, now Univision) shows on there. When did Houston get its own Spanish station?

Sometime in the mid-80s, I think. There are now 5 Spanish stations carried by DirecTV as local stations in Houston, plus I think there are 2 or 3 additional Spanish LPTVs.
I thought I remembered channel 26 changing calls and using the Metromedia imaging around 1978, but I guess it was earlier.

What I am actually looking for is some 80s lineups because KTXH 20 first went on the air in November 1982.
