It was mentioned in an earlier thread that KVFD picked up all NBC programming from WHO off-air, and anything WHO pre-empted was pre-empted on KVFD too, forcing KVFD to find alternate programming, most often short films or local specials, instead of finding an alternate station or advance films for NBC programming.

That's why why KVFD isn't running any NBC programming from 12:30-2pm, WHO ran a local movie. There was one point when KVFD was airing PTL Club from 9-11am but I don't believe they ever delayed any of the NBC programs pre-empted by PTL into the 12:30-2pm block. Maybe they didn't have the tape equipment, or maybe "Film Feature" and TBA was really popular with the Ft. Dodge viewers!

KCRG has at 9:30 America! "Away in Wisconsin" Is this an actual program? I'm guessing it's really "Film Feature" they just put a name on it. KCRG would frequently shelve paid syndicated shows for the summer, bringing in cheaper fare. They once had "Action Adventure Theater" on the schedule, in reality free travel films. On holidays they would sometimes condense their 5:30pm news to 15 minutes, followed by a "Film Short" to fill out the half hour.
