"The Dream Sequence Always Rings Twice." Easily the best episode of Moonlighting, and one of my favorite episodes of ANY TV show.

It was the first time I ever heard "I Told Ya' I Love Ya' Now Get Out."

Thanks for posting this, Crainbebo! Two comments on animated programming:

1. The program at 7 AM on Channel 62 is M.A.S.K., not The Mask (the spinoff of the Jim Carrey movie that came along years later).

2. Do you know which station ran Centurions in Kansas City?

Some comments about KQTV the 2nd (more on the 1st here: http://www.uhftelevision.com/articles.html

St. Joseph's channel 2 has an odd existence being in the shadow of KC. Started out CBS as KFEQ-TV in 1953, switched to ABC in 1967, took on the KQTV calls in 1969 when KFEQ 680 and KFEQ-TV were sold to different owners.

Why didn't KQTV become the NBC affiliate for KC in the late 80s after WDAF defected to FOX? Probably the same reason that KQTV didn't ever move into the KC market: Kansas City International Airport. No big towers were possible anywhere near there, I suspect. And, by the 80s, I wonder if a channel 2 signal with all of its difficulties being viewed with rabbit ear sets might have been at a disadvantage to UHF signals.

KQTV did try to move into the Topeka market in the early 80s with a proposed 2000 foot tower about 25 miles SW near Atchinson KS. Problem was that it created a white area on the NE side of the existing KQTV service area of about 10,000 people, while the service gains to Topeka and other areas in Kansas didn't result in a second or third TV service. All the networks were already there, so KQTV's proposal was denied. Had KQTV made their move in the 60s before all the UHFs in Topeka came about, the outcome might have been different. http://digital.library.unt.edu/ark:/67531/metadc306655/m1/390/?q=kqtv
