From TV Guide, Kentucky Edition:

WAVE Ch. 3 Louisville (NBC)

6:45 Today On The Farm (Jack Crowner)

WKRC Ch. 12 Cincinnati (ABC)

6:55 Daily Word
7 AM Tobacco News And Views
7:15 Communism

Seems like there was a fair amount of farm programming early AM on TV in the south. In the midwest, it was during the noon news. Early AM it was all on the radio. WAVE owned WMT Am/FM/TV in Cedar Rapids, Iowa during the 70s. They mover Crowner to WMT, where he was on radio in the morning and TV at noon.

Any idea what the "Communism" show was? I guess we can assume they were against it.

TV Guide identified "Communism" as an interview program.
Somehow, I can't imagine the Taft family putting a Communist
on the air on Ch. 12, but perhaps a professor (maybe from the
University of Cincinnati) who tried to explain it and stay neutral
or opposed to it. That's just a wild guess; I never heard of the
program.
