This version of the "Iron Bowl" between Alabama and Auburn was the game where Bear Bryant won his 315th game as a head coach, breaking Amos Alonzo Stagg's record. It was also the last time Bryant would defeat Auburn as a head coach. His record versus the Tigers was 19-6. (Amazing that an Auburn fan would post these factoids, isn't it? :-[ )
