Entertainment Tonight and the original People's Court were two shows that moved around a lot across the L.A. TV dials, especially back at that time. With ET, if I remember the chronology correctly--it debuted on KTLA, and then as noted above, moved to KNBC for a year or so, and then KTTV for a few years, and KNBC gets it back in 1986, and has aired on KCBS since fall 1994.

Judge Wapner and his associates (Doug Llewelyn and Rusty Burrell, the baliff) were on, at some point, every VHF station in Los Angeles with the exception of KNBC. I remember in the later years of the Wapner edition, People's Court bounced back-and-forth, it seemed like every couple of years between KHJ/KCAL and KCOP. KCBS did have the final season, plus there was also a "best of" package that aired alongside the newer episodes in many markets.

Even Tic-Tac-Dough and The Joker's Wild moved back-and-forth between Channels 9 and 13 during the courses of their runs in Los Angeles. Reruns of Barney Miller also...I believe the reruns of that show moved to KCOP within a year or two of this listing.

News with Hank Plante on KHJ9. That is interesting because I mainly heard of Hank Plante during his time at KPIX-TV in San Francisco in the 80's and 1990's.

Now Hank Plante has moved back to Southern California in the Palm Springs area in retirement.
