For the shows' first ten years, Wheel and Jeopardy aired in Traverse City on WGTU 29, which was surprising considering how cheaply run that station was at the time. They also had Live! with Regis and Kathie Lee and Oprah Winfrey in addition to Wheel/Jeopardy (it may have had to do with WZZM in Grand Rapids having the GR rights to those shows in the late 1980s and early 1990s; in the analog days, Big Rapids, Ludington, and Manistee got a better ABC signal from WZZM than WGTU).

Green Bay and Milwaukee are two rare markets in the Central Time Zone that air Wheel and Jeopardy back to back, forgoing 6pm news.

KDBC El Paso (CBS) airs them both from 6-7 as well. So does KVHP Lake Charles (FOX), but in the opposite order. They are the only affiliate in the entire Central Time Zone that airs Wheel at 6:00 PM Central. The rest air it exclusively at 6:30, although WLUK Green Bay always airs Wheel an hour early at 5:30 on days where the show is pre-empted (mostly by Thursday Night Football pregame).

KDBC is in the Mountain Time Zone, but prime time also starts at 7pm local in that time zone
