How did these frontier stations handle the CBC National News?
I'm sure it was not put on a kinescope and shipped out with the other programming
two weeks late.

Not sure how they managed that one...but you'll notice that on CBWBT the news was only 10 min, but on the southern stations with the network feed it was 15 min... ;D The delays also depended on location-larger centers were only a week behind, but smaller communities could be up to a month behind the network, due to the bicycle system in relaying the tapes..
