While "Runaway Freight Train" would make a good special, I think the 8PM (6PM CT) program was "Runaway with the Rick and Famous"; the at 8:30PM was "It Sounded Like a Freight Train", a WGN News special about tornadoes.

I think this was the superstation feed, as the prime-time schedule included "The Jeffersons", which replaced one of the "local" WGN shows (either "The Golden Girls", "Cheers" or "Married with Children"). Canadians won't get the local signal again until the mid-2000s.
