And one note about my comments on WABI...there were 3 cablecos in the Metro Halifax area in those days, Halifax Cable (Halifax) carried WABI, but Dartmouth Cable (Dartmouth) and Metrovision (Bedford/Sackville, EastLink's community channel now comes out of their building) carried WJBK for CBS...the Halifax Chronicle Herald's TV supplement carried listings for both stations.
