Yes, that's one thing. But I was thinking of something else. A word in the title to the movie Fredric March was in on that day may provide a clue.

I did read something about Mr. Tracy being considered for the role that was ultimately played by Mr. March in The Desperate Hours.

Yes, I think he would have been effective in that role too.

Both actors did play a same role (or maybe I should say same roles) in different movies. And the role(s) they both played is the common thing to which I was referring.
