XERF was 250 kw, 1370 was not 50 kw... it was Noe Cuellar's 250 watt station. XEOY was 10 day and 1 night, and I saw the transmitter in 1963 to confirm. XEQ was 50 kw. XEX was 100 kw (pictures on my website from 1963, also). 1220, also photographed, was 100 kw. XERH in the 60´s was 20 kw, 5 at night.

550 XERPM was 50 kw day, as was XEWK 1190.

Info was posted as was printed in the publication and came from White's Radio Log, which RTVE was carrying by that time. What's the URL for your website BTW?

That should have been "660" and not "550." 1963 was the year I interned at XERC/XEQR/XEJP/XEAI/XELZ in Mexico City, and I visitied every station in the market then. It was also a time when Mexican station data was not very accurate in radio publications.

What about da'Wolf's X-E-R-B, "The Mighty 1090!", Tijuana. Wasn't that at least 50,000 watts as well??

Absolutely. 50 kw then, 50 kw now as XEPRS.

Anybody remember when XEG on 1050 and adjacent to WNOE New Orleans on 1060 would several times an hour wipe out WNOE's signal, disrupting with fire and brimstone radio preachers the top 40 sounds on 1060.
