A few things I noted:

Nebraska, South Dakota, and Iowa had to have been on
Central Standard Time, two hours behind New York, I noticed
Ed Sullivan coming on at 6, which would be 8 (EDT).

CBS did rerun "I Love Lucy" under the title "The Sunday Lucy
Show," so that has to be what you're referring to. "The Lucy
Show" with Gale Gordon, Vivian Vance (and, later, Mary Jane Croft)
didn't start until 1962.

Finally, KMTV was CBS and WOWT NBC then, just as they are now.
But that wasn't always the case. When did they first switch?

First switch was 1956, second switch was 6/29/86.
