WCBS 2-CBS New York

7:05 New York Report (Ron Cochran)
...of course, Cochran would eventually replace former CBS anchor John Charles Daly on ABC's evening newscast; Daly anchored CBS Radio's immediate coverage of Pearl Harbor, while Cochran anchored ABC's immediate coverage of President Kennedy's assassination...

8:00 Arthur Godfrey (season finale)
...as well as the beginning of a year-long hiatus from prime time TV for Godfrey; when The Arthur Godfrey Show reappeared in September 1958, it shrunk from a full hour to a half hour and ran only one more season. I don't recall if the daytime Arthur Godfrey Time simulcast also took a break, but of course the radio side of that program kept Godfrey on the air until April of 1972...

WRCA 4-NBC New York

11:15 Tonight Show (interviews with columnists Hy Gardner, Earl Wilson, Bob Considine, Irv Kupcinet, and Paul Coates/visit to a launch party of the film Beau James with comments from Bob Hope, Paul Douglas, and George Jessel/the Chamonaires perform in studio)
...of course, this is the failed magazine format version officially titled Tonight! America After Dark; it had been hosted by Jack Lescoulie, who this week was subbing for Dave Garroway on Today, and for its final month (including this broadcast) its host was Al "Jazzbo" Collins. Franklin Pangborn introduced Jack Paar on the new incarnation just over a month after this...

WABD 5-DuMont New York

3:00 Liberace
...I assume this would be a rerun of Liberace's syndicated film series of '53-'55; he had a daytime show on ABC a couple of years after this...
