Funny thing is, it looks like a cross between a high speed fax and a Web page...like what you see when you boot up your browser and log on to a newspaper website. I guess people were even thinking in 1948 about something like the Web, although back then they used a broadcast delivery system rather than either dial-up or cable delivery, so interactivity wasn't yet part of the plan.

Maybe like a one-way WiFi?
