That 1 1/2 hour time zone difference is a killer. All the networks are running their family shows too late for Newfoundland families to watch.

Even CJON, the local CTV affiliate in Newfoundland, has to put up with the 1 1/2 hour difference in time. The network didn't give the Maritimes a separate feed. So W5, the CTV news magazine show like 60 Minutes, runs at 10pm Eastern on Sunday night. But that's 11:30 pm in Newfoundland. The CTV news runs at 12:30. Then the local NTV Eyewitness News runs at 1 a.m.? Who can stay up that late?
