...wasn't this actually a Wide World of Sports presentation, or was it perhaps a syndicated special that happened to pop up on a pair of ABC affiliates in this region?...
 
"Wide World Of Sports." It was listed as a special, but at
the end of the listing it said, "Howard Cosell reports for
'Wide World Of Sports.'"
