As a matter of fact, it should ;D...somehow missed that when proofreading...

Oh, this is cool and brings back memories for me since I lived in Fortuna, CA, back in '73. Was probably 8 years old at that point. I do remember KIEM having the ABC daytime shows later in the afternoon and KVIQ at that point being mostly NBC shows. I wish I had a better idea of which ABC shows the two channels cherry-picked. Now, when we got cable later that year, and I mean the whole Humboldt County area, things changed, probably in 1974, especially with KVIQ. They went to a primarily ABC program schedule, including daytime stuff and prime and Saturday morning cartoons. Since we were getting not only KRON 4 from San Francisco and KRCR 7 from Redding, we had access now to one fulltime NBC outlet and another one that shared. We also could see KGO 7 from Sanfrancisco on channel 8 and KTVU 2 for all the reruns. That was pretty much what our cable had at the time, besides a channel that had nothing but audio from a distant FM station on one channel and one of those weather wheels with Muzak for the audio on another channel. In 1975 or '76 they added KTXL 40 on channel 10, and I think they finally added KPIX 5 a few years later. What I wonder is exactly when KVIQ switched to running primarily ABC shows in 1974, I don't remember when that switch happened.
