This was also my first Argentine log from Argentina, around 1960. I later got quite a few others, some with power as low as 5 kw.

LR3 was the station where María Eva Duarte began working in radio soap operas after being hired by Jaime Yankelovich, the owner of this 100,000 watt AM station. She later met a military guy named Juan Domingo Perón, became Evita Perón, and still influences Argentine politics today.

Remark: Today a crazy log - Absolute lucky punch, very weak signal, strong interference, but clear ID at 0:31 in the MP3 that could only be achieved with the lowest bandwidth and amplifier at maximum. The station still exists today on its frequency 860 AM and the slogan still goes as "Radio Reforma ¡Se Oye!", after all those yrs., Website: Radio Reforma Se Oye ;-)

Late response... but this is the station where Evita Duarte got her first job in radio in Buenos Aires when she arrived. And, hopefully finally, the Peronistas are out of power with the new government!
