As I recall, the Dick Tracy cartoon was re-distributed without the Joe Jitsu and Go Go Gomez episodes.

I recall how by that time, it was considered very racially insensitive. KCAL 9 Los Angeles aired it until August 1990 when they replaced it with Underdog. I was so "stoked" to see my most favorite cartoon from my early childhood again!

Surprised to see Fantastic Journey in reruns on broadcast tv.

I remember watching this cartoon on KDSM in 1990 and those characters were still on the show.
Real? It didn't air here (Atlanta) so I was going by previous notations. I do recall that Joe Jitsu was created as a good guy to soothe any residual ill feelings Japan had against us from WW2.

Yeah there was one episode we taped off tv and it had the Joe Jitsu character
