CBS was the only run airing its usual series during this sweeps month day.

ABC had MNF and NBC had a movie. Interesting.

Rush Limbaugh's syndicated TV show had just started a few weeks before. Despite getting timeslots like the 1AM one in this market, he did all right with the show for four years.
