There is an aircheck on the Reelradio site from KNAK-AM 1280 ( Salt Lake City's big top 40 station at the time ) recorded from around the same time as these listings, actually June 27th, 1970.

News anchor on KNAK...Lloyd Lindsey Young...YEARS before WOR-TV.
One of the most popular songs in Salt Lake? The Carpenters with "Close to You".

Young was also the weather guy on KIFI-TV in Idaho Falls in the mid-70s

Carried only one hour (first hour refeed?) of Today. Prime time was in pattern.

4 KCPX (ABC)
...
4pm Captain Scotty With The Flintstones and Lassie
5pm KCPX News
5:30 I Love Lucy
6pm Truth Or Consequences
6:30 Nanny
7pm Eddie's Father
7:30 Room 222
8pm Johnny Cash
9pm Englebert Humperdink

Apparently it was "why bother" with the ABC Evening News.

Prime time in pattern. BTW, at 6:30 that's Nanny & The Professor, not a
very young Fran Drescher.

5 KSL (CBS)
...
6:30 CBS News
7am Captain Kangaroo
7:30 Beverly Hillbillies
8am Lucy

11:30 As the World Turns

6:30 You're In Love Charlie Brown
7pm Hee Haw
8pm Movie: Wild and Wonderful

So KSL-TV carried only half of both the CBS Morning News and Captain Kangaroo?
Or was the AM newser then still a half-hour with a re-feed? Captain was an hour,
but I'm not sure the mid-break always hit at 29:27. Hillbillies (from 8:30 AM MT)
would be a day behind. And...I'm shocked! ATWT was live, not a day behind as it
was in many later years on KSL and then KUTV.

Guesstimating that the Peanuts special was a OTO in the 8:30 ET Hillbillies slot, with
Hee Haw (7:30 ET) following. The 8 PM movie would be a local show--so when were
Dr. Gannon and Book 'em Danno fringed out to?
