I've heard of "Eye On Hollywood", but I had no idea that it was for ABC stations. In fact, the show doesn't even have its own Wikipedia entry - all I could find was this.

Random thought: I could use some full day's listings from South Texas from the mid-'80's - just sayin'... ::)

FWIW, these show "Eye on Hollywood" starting Winter 83/84 for ABC at Midnight ET.

"Eye on Hollywood" was also pretty much of an offshoot of KABC's "Eye on L.A.", except more entertainment-focused. "Eye on L.A." is still on the air to this day on KABC, now as a weekly series on Saturday evenings (when not pre-empted by sports or the occasional infomercial).

What was the channel lineup? Del Rio use Rogers, or another cable system?

...I'm assuming the wrestling here would be Joe Blanchard's Southwest Championship Wrestling, which was based in San Antonio and in its final months of national cable coverage over USA Network (Blanchard had bought the Sunday morning USA time slot, but didn't maintain the payments, opening the way for Vince McMahon Jr. to take the slot over a few weeks after this with his WWF All-American Wrestling package). Fascinating that KMOL/4 isn't carrying Friday Night Videos. I'm suspecting the wrestling show is in there to maintain a 60-minute block between Carson and Thicke that David Letterman provided on other weeknights...

Did KMOL carried Videos before or after they picked up the "Thicke of the Night" fiasco?

No, I believe this was WCCW, which was in the midst of an all-out turf war with Blanchard in SA. SWCW aired Sunday mornings on KENS.
