In this case, it was a lookalike show, "You Wanted To See It", also hosted by Jack Smith.

30 years gone by, and the more things change, the more they stay the same. D.C. still doesn't have a vote, and the House still has trouble getting anything done..... ;)

Actually, I knew that but didn't know how many people would recognize
the fictionalized title, so I used the real title instead. And yes, Jack Smith
did appear as host. BTW, this was the conclusion of a two-parter.

On, but off the subject, I got a 1958 Atlanta edition of TV Guide the
other day, and it had an article about Smith, who had just taken over
the hosting duties on the real "You Asked For It" when Art Baker left
to do a short-lived NBC show, "End Of The Rainbow" (Bob Barker emceed
the last few weeks before "Ted Mack's Amateur Hour" replaced it). Smith
seemed to be thoroughly enjoying his forays around the world ("It's like
a vacation," he said), and it's pretty obvious, since he hosted the 1971-72
revival, narrated clips in 1981-82, and once again hosted the show in
1982-83.
