Side note of interest: The syndicated Wheel of Fortune which began the previous September, did not air on any LA's main VHF stations until March 5, 1984 when KCOP 13 picked it up, moving The Joker's Wild and Tic-Tac-Dough back to KHJ 9 for the first time since Sept. 1981. I've been long wondering why certain syndicated game shows failed to clear any Los Angeles station, considering that's the very city they're produced in!
 
That's interesting to see Good Day LA as far back in the 1980's when Metromedia owned KTTV 11. But that has to be way different that how Fox would do that for the past 30 years.
