Interesting to see Match of the Day listed on BBC 1 Scotland. My understanding is Scotland has it's own Soccer highlights show covering the Scottish leagues.

Very few Scots would care about Birmingham City V Arsenal!

It's possible the Scottish league was on its winter break that week. That's about the only thing I can think of.
