WVIA-44 (PBS) - This Station ran a huge amount of shows you would expect to find on a commercial independent - wonder if they were edited or unedited. Also if they still had "commercial" breaks with no commercials but WVIA promos in their place.

17 WPHL (Ind.) Providence Journal - A shxxload of religious shows - more than even Pat Robertson's stations - Saturdays - had almost as much - way too much for that station - They should have dumped most of this when WKBS TV went dark and have TV 65 or 57 pick that stuff up. They could have filled 48's hole much better - anyhow they did adequetly from 1983-85 and WGBS finished the job at their sign on

The NHL Hockey Game was on Channel 57 Sunday evening - NOT Channel 29 - typo - Mission was still on 57 though. the movie on 57 was on 29 I believe.

1 PM NFL Football – Cleveland Browns at New York Giants (Why on NBC thought Giants were CBS back then)

This was because the Browns were the visiting AFC team playing against the NFC Giants, which meant the game was aired on NBC (such a scenario would occur today on CBS).

...the Detroit Lions had beaten the Jets 31-20 in the Thanksgiving Day game three days earlier...
