I think "Kinneer" may be Greg Kinnear and the paper misspelled it.
Also, might "Cezenne" be the painter Cezanne? It's on PBS so it wouldn't
surprise me.
As for KING5 carrying "Days" and "Another World" in the morning, my NBC
affiliate, WNCN NBC17, did the same thing and it was an NBC o&o at the time.
Apparently neither station was able to compete with the ABC and CBS soap
blocks and had to counterprogram.

Yes that would be Cezenne. The paper is off Google News Archive in microfilm so the listings are a little dark in areas.

At the time KSTW had a Translator In Ellensburg On Channel 15 as well as KCPQ

For some reason the Daily Record never listed KCPQ, but listed KCYU Yakima instead, probably because it's closer.

KSTW's news schedule got awfully weird during it's last year or so as a CBS affiliate. I've seen an early 1997 schedule that also had KSTW's "11 News" airing at 11am and 4pm. The stations' newscast was hammered badly in the ratings during it's second CBS era, so they may have been trying local news in different dayparts, while throwing syndicated fare against KING, KOMO, and KIRO in the 'traditional' news slots.

IIRC, KSTW aired only a 6pm and 11pm newscast when it switched to CBS in 1995. They did try a morning newscast for a while.
