So I wonder who had ET at 11:30 in northern California? This TVG was so confusing at times.

KPIX brought CBS News to Medford as neither KOBI/KOTI nor KTVL aired it (Medford didn't have a primary CBS at the time)

They must not have had room to print both KTVU and KPIX's call letters on the page. It really is much more of a KPIX program guide. 'Captain Kangaroo'(it was actually 'Wake Up With The Captain' by then), 'Alice', and 'People Are Talking' were all on KPIX(surprisingly in 'Alice's case, but very soon after, CBS replaced those reruns with the revived '$25,000 Pyramid', while KPIX moved 'Hour Magazine' into that slot.)
The even bigger surprise here is that a lot of the afternoon programming comes not from either KPIX or KTVU, but rather from San Francisco independent KBHK 44! After 'Big Valley'(which really did air on KTVU), the noon news was KPIX, and the sitcoms airing from 12:30 up to 2:30 came from 44.
Back to KPIX for 'Hour Magazine', then 'Gilligan's Island' at 4 aired on 2, and the next few shows, from 'John Davidson' to the 6 o'clock news are KPIX, and, as you noted, so are the CBS news and 'Evening Magazine'. The 8 o'clock and midnight movies were a KTVU tradition, and the 11 o'clock news was KPIX. (KTVUU had Giants games back then, and I believe those have been televised to Medford for many years).
As for 'Entertainment Tonight'...I only remember it airing on KRON in the early days, and KGO much later(I think it did air on KPIX around 20 years ago...God, it's been on longer than forever!). But if they could pipe in KBHK and the newspaper didn't credit it, the same might be true for 'Entertainment Tonight'.

Too bad TVG was so confusing and didn't just print something like 'SF-M' for San Francisco microwave feeds, or just print separate listings for KTVU, KPIX and KBHK. The cable feeds were cherrypicking different SF stations. I wonder if they were able to PRE-RECORD KRON's feed and play it late at night for Entertainment Tonight? Hmmmm??
Remember, People Are Talking was the reason why TPIR was dumped to KTZO/KOFY for years and years.
I think everything on 'KTXL' was correct. TV40 Sacramento was seen on some cable operators in southern Oregon, Nevada, etc.
