Interesting that WSVN and WPLG are not included; I recall
seeing some Tampa/Sarasota TV Guides that included WTVJ,
WCIX, and WPLG (on cable) but not WSVN. Was Channel 7
(and I don't mean the ABC station in Naples) on any cable
systems on Florida's left coast?

WPLG was included in those listings. Channel 7 was WCKT back at that time.

Yeah, I overlooked WPLG, but regardless of Ch. 7's call letters,
I still wonder why it was not included on cable systems in southwest
Florida; at the time it was Miami's NBC affiliate. Did WBBH put pressure
on the local cable company to keep it off?
