KOLR-10 was a little preemption happy. I did not live in the market, but my fuzzy memory thought that trend was at least a year or two away at this point. These listings don't reflect it, but I'm pretty sure KOLR was running "The CBS Morning News" live from the East Coast feed from 6:00 to 8:00 a.m. It would be interesting to know what syndicated show KOLR aired at 8:00 a.m. I think it's interesting that KOLR passed on the 9:00 a.m. block of CBS shows, but went ahead and cleared "Body Language" at 3:00. The 3:00 p.m. slot was prime preemption fodder for many CBS affiliates back in the day.

New independent KSPR had two hours of network shows during the day, thanks to KY3 and KOLR-10. I seem to remember that KSPR also cleared "The NBC Late Night Movie" on Sunday nights at 10:30, which KY3 took a pass on. KOLR-10 was obviously preempting "The CBS Late Movie" at this point, but I'm not sure if KSPR ever picked it up (I want to say the answer is "no"). If KSPR did carry "The CBS Late Movie," it would have been preempted by the baseball game on this particular night.

Does anyone know if KY3 ever carried "Search for Tomorrow" during its NBC run, or did the station preempt it from the get-go?

There was another TV guide listing that I found on Newspapers.com that showed what was airing on the Springfield, MO TV stations before 9:00AM, but whoever was copying the page that the listing was on had messed up & the guide was not readable.
