I thought Montel Williams didn't premiere until Fall 1991.

It turns to be part of a 'test run' in selected markets, starting June 24. St. Louis started theirs just the week before this day's schedule (July 8), replacing The Joker's Wild (w/ Pat Finn) and The Challengers (w/ Dick Clark).

The Full House reruns on KDNL were actually
from NBC's Daytime schedule, preempted by
KDSK. When Full House went into syndication
that fall, ironically it went to KPLR instead.

Thanks for the info I never knew they did that back then. Everytime I look up info on old talk shows like Montel Williams it always showed September 30th for the start date.

For me, I look up vintage newspaper sites like newspapers.com or genealogybank.com which are where I get these schedules from.

Regarding Montel, KCOP in Los Angeles was also one of the test markets for his show. KCOP's then parent company, Chris-Craft, one of the original producers of the Montel Show.

KMOV aired Y&R at 3PM and later at 4PM for a good 25 years until Meredith took over the station in 2015.
It had to be a drawl at 3pm ratings Y&R vs. Oprah.
