But halfway into Australia’s Naughtiest Home Videos, a Nine announcer informed viewers that a “technical problem” prevented them from resuming the show, and what was that technical problem? Kerry Packer on the phone demanding network master control in Sydney to “GET THAT S*** OFF THE AIR!!!!”; Cheers immediately hit as the “brief alternative program”.

It wouldn’t be until 2008 when that infamous program would finally be shown in its entirety (Packer was already dead by then).
