Mind you I was 10 yrs old in 1969, but didn't realize that ch. 17 was the only UHF back then. I don't think many Canadians had UHF tuners at that time. This would've been just on the cusp of the UHF blitz! Ch. 29 debuted about 1970, then perhaps ch. 79 and 25, Toronto.
